Political parties should take the initiative to come under RTI ambit

Addressing the 2 day Conference by National Information Commission, RTI Activists Anil Galgali said that it would serve Public interest, If political parties should take the initiative to come under RTI ambit to opened up their working and accounts to gaze of their voters.
2 day conference was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Lt. Governer of Delhi Najib Jung, Minister of state for PMO Jitendra Singh, Chief Information Commissioner R.K. Mathur & Information Commissioner Basant Seth also addressed Conference held at DRDO Auditorium, New Delhi. 
In his speech, Anil Galgali said Each Minister should take review of pending RTI applications once every three months. This would act as a kind of check on working of Government departments. Bureaucracy and Government Machinery also need to change their attitude to open up Democratic structures.

Additional member of Railway board Sharatchandra Jeth, Deputy Rail Managers Sachin Shukla & Rajesh Tiwari and Deputy Secretary R. Subramanium took part in session dedicated to "RTI in Railways". Anil  Galgali shared his experience with RTI, Where Actress Hema Malini gave up highly subsidised Government land after his RTI exposure. He also quoted his RTI's regarding Increase in number of local rail services in Mumbai & cancellation of Appointment of Retired officer as OSD's in BMC as an effective tool.

  1. It's necessary. Modi not interested in RTI. If RTI implement to all political parties then they always expose by common man
