CM approved new freedom fighters list, includes 3 dead also

Recently CM Devendra Fadnavis led BJP govt had declared 88 persons as freedom fighters which included 52 people for Beed on a single day. Now it has further come to light that the list includes 3 people who are already dead, this shocking revelation has come forth in a reply to a query by RTI activist Anil Galgali. Now the inheritors of the dead which include the son and daughter in law in one case are pursuing the just declared inheritance, which will be in lakhs as the same will be payable since the start of the scheme, giving a reason to believe that it could be a deep rooted racket. RTI activist Anil Galgali had sought information from the government about the recent addition to the freedom fighters pension wages list, in which the govt had informed that since 1 Jan 2015 to 5 June 2015 a fresh list of 88 persons were approved by the CM Fadnavis on the basis of just attachment warrants to be included in the category of freedom fighters, in which 52 Beed district people received approval on a single day, the fresh list of 88 persons contains a total of 79 persons from Beed, 1 from nanded and 4 each from osmanabad and Ahmed Nagar. During the Congress Ncp rule it had come to light that there were 298 out of 355 were found Bogus. In the fresh list of 79 freedom fighters approved by the Cm from Beed alone, 3 persons namely Shambhaji Ambuji Khande, Janabai laxman Yewle and Jalsubai tukaram Bhosale are long dead. The Beed dist collector office in a letter dt 29/5/2015 Informed the govt that, Shambhaji Ambuji Khande has expired on 25/10/2011 and his wife Mathurabai Shambhaji Khande has expired on 8/9/2014 and now his son Shahaji is demanding the dues accrued. Similarly Janabai laxman Yewle expired on 22/8/2012 and now her son Arun Yewle is seeking the dues accrued. Also Jalsubai tukaram Bhosale expired on 30/12/2009 and now her daughter in law is seeking the dues accrued. The Beed collector has sought funds to a tune of Rs 8 crore 51 lakhs 97 thousand 550, to clear the payments of dues accrued to the 79 newly declared freedom fighters. Beed already has 494 central govt and 690 state govt declared freedom fighters totaling 1184 freedom fighters to take care of, prior to the new approval. Anil Galgali in a reminder letter addressed to CM Devendra Fadnavis, State Home Minister Ranjeet Patil, CS Swadheen Kshatriya and GAD Principal Secretary Sumeet Mallik has demanded that the fresh list of 88 persons be immediately scrapped and a criminal case be filed against the racketeers who are trying to get new people approved and get funds allotted to the beneficiaries, which is functioning from the mantralaya. He further demanded that the enquiry be handed over to the Anti corruption Bureau to expose the racket of creation of new freedom fighters.
